HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your booking, you will be charged the full amount unless we are able to re-sell the cancelled room. Any refund will be subject to an administration fee of €50.00. In the event of a no-show, late arrival, or early departure, you will be charged for the entire booked stay. WEATHER CONDITIONS
In general, the climate in São Miguel is considered oceanic subtropical, which means it is moderate and humid throughout the year, with mild temperatures and frequent precipitation. However, this island is known for its rapid and unpredictable changes in weather, with bright sunshine turning into torrential rain in a matter of minutes.
In winter, from December to February, temperatures tend to be cooler, with daytime averages around 15°C. Winter months are also the rainiest, with the possibility of storms and strong winds. In the higher areas of the island, snow can even occur, especially on Pico da Vara, São Miguel’s highest point.
We recommend checking the island’s webcams through Spot Azores to verify the weather if you plan to visit other areas of the island.
